what is the pance exam?
the physician assistant national certifying exam (pance) is a certification exam taken by a physician assistant before they can be licensed in the u.s. for the first time after graduating from an accredited program.
the exam consists of 300 multiple-choice questions delivered in five 60-minute, 60-question blocks. the tests are computer-based and consist of practical medical and surgical questions.
