due to continued state restrictions and cdc guidelines related to covid-19, cope has decided to extend the temporary rules modification to allow cope administrators to present ce activities through an interactive online format and give live cope ce credit through june 30, 2021. please note that although cope has modified its rules in this regard, individual state boards may have different policies. we recommend contacting the state board(s) where you are licensed for verification.

marshall b. ketchum university’s available online coursework is designed to offer optometrists a timely and convenient option in order to fulfill the requirements for license renewal, per the regulations implemented by the california state board of optometry. each course has been documented and accredited to meet the required criteria for self-study work. the california state board of optometry will allow optometrists to complete a maximum of 20 units of online coursework. all online courses have been cope-approved for continuing education credit.

the optometric clinical seminars are conducted as a series of lectures presented by members of the residency faculty and staff at the veterans affairs of greater los angeles. this interactive series is designed to present the essential core of optometric and clinical knowledge in a manner that enhances understanding and retention. each section of the optometric clinical seminars course curriculum contains related aspects of basic and clinical science, designed for the practicing optometrist.
